Personal Protection items
We would recommend investing in:
A Cricket box
- Male – a cricket box/abdo guard to protect the genital area. These can be found in any of the following:
- Amazon – £6
- Sports Direct – £8
- Decathlon – £9
Chest guards
Chest guards used in boxing, martial arts or Rugby are good suggestions
- Female – a chest guard to protect the chest area. We would highly recommend that if you would like to continue playing goalball one of these is worth investing in.
Please get in contact if we can help make a suggestion on products that have worked for our team members
Elbow and knee pads
Elbow and knee pads used for volleyball work well
Padding
Padded vests for rugby work well
Padded shorts or goalkeeper trousers can be a great addition to your kit
